Abstract EN

The article, here, tackles the negated sentence with "la" inthe supplication of imam Al-Sadiq ( Peace be upon him ) in theAl-Saheifa Al-Sajadaya.

First of all, there is an introduction to thenegated sentence in the language, then the negated sentence with"la" is tackled as it comes with the nominal sentences: negatedsentences starting with la to negate gender, la functions as " leiss" and how it behaves in the verbal sentences in light of both la fornegation and la for requesting.

It is found that the negation with la is the most used in the Al-Saheifa Al-Sajadaya and the negation keeps with it in all its uses; even when there is cessation as the cessation comes equal tonegation.

There is no mention to the la, additional certifying la, in the Al-Saheifa Al-Sajadaya constructed in a sentence.

There isa difference between a sentence negated by la for gender and asentence negated by la that fictions as leiss, as the latter refers totime and its Khobar, object, could be a derived noun or a verbalsentence.
