Summary: This article deals with the topic of religious and political piety in Ibadi thought, as piety has always been an important pillar of Ibadi doctrine, especially in the founding stage with Jabir bin Zaid.

This topic will be dealt with in two aspects: the doctrinal and juristic aspect, through a statement of the legitimacy of taqiyyah, a statement of its provisions, types and practical applications, and the political aspect through its association with the Ibadi imamate in the course of secrecy, one of the most important paths of religion when Ibadi.
