Abstract EN

This paper aims to highlight the organization of the process of supervising the Wakf in the Islamic jurisprudence and the Algerian legislation, and to determine the effectiveness of mechanisms in place in protecting them, and ensuring their development and usefulness to the society.

it also aims to give a definition to the Wakf properties and their types, highlight their jurisprudential and legal basis, determine the methods of their relevant authority's work, identify the differences and similarities between them, and finally make suggestions that would contribute to the development of the jurisprudential and legislative system which controls the process of supervising the wakf.
