The aim of the research was to find out the effect of the metacognitive modeling strategy in developing primary school pupils' connection and mathematical representation and exploring relationship between them.

the research used pretest posttest equivalent groups design.

The research tools were applied, before and after the experiment, on the research groups.

The results showed that There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental and control group Pupils in the post application of the mathematical Connection skills test and its dimensions and of the mathematical representation skills test and its dimensions in favor of experimental group, and There is a relationship between the scores of the experimental group pupils in the mathematical Connection skill test and the mathematical representation skill test.
