Abstract EN

This study aimed to explain the reality of the application of comprehensive quality costs in meat factories operating in Khartoum state; the reality of the marketing performance of those factories during the period (2015-2020); and to study the impact of the application of total quality costs on marketing performance.

The study depended on the historical, descriptive, deductive, inductive, and analytical methods.

A questionnaire was designed and distributed to five meat factories in Khartoum state, and it includes five axes, four of them related to the independent variable including preventive costs, evaluation costs, internal failure costs, and external failure costs; in addition to a dependent variable which is the marketing performance.

The study concluded that the meat factories operating in Khartoum state are interested and committed to implementing quality costs; also, the application of prevention, evaluation, and internal failure costs have a strong effect on marketing performance; while the application of external failure costs did not affect marketing performance.

The study recommended that more attention to be paid to the positive costs, and calls for meat factories to reconsider the internal failure costs.
