Commercial legislations and policies review mechanism (CLPRM) is one of the most significant mechanisms on which WTO depends to achieve its objectives.

the role of (CLPRM) is to review legislations, structures and commercial policies of member states or membership requesting states to match WTO conventions and protocols.

peering the above mentioned role of (CLPRM) with the classical concept of state sovereignty which indicates the absoluteness of sovereignty, expresses per se the contradiction between the concept of sovereignty and the review of legislations and policies, considering the review mostly enforces states to implement its legislations and structural projects and policies to match what is demanded by the organization.

the basic question in this instant is: is the role of the (CLPRM) affects state sovereignty, or the state while reviewing its legislations and policies to match the WTO principles in order to gain the membership, is doing this by its free will? this is what this research paper tried to answer via exploring a general view on (CLPRM), introducing the case of Sudan accession request and the effect of that on its national sovereignty, and finally it introduced the Sudanese investment enhance act as a model of legislations affected by the accession request.
