Abstract EN

This research paper aimed to formulate a future vision for the development of the field of measurement, evaluation, psychological and educational statistics as one of the fields of educational psychology in Egyptian universities.

the researcher has adopted a strategic planning methodology in preparing this vision, and it included six stages.

in the first phase came a description of the reality of the specialization and its analysis through a group from the data, assessing the current situation and analyzing it according to the SWOT methodology to clarify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges that it faces, then the second stage includes the research problems and challenges facing the specialization of measurement, evaluation, psychological and educational statistics in Egyptian universities and put forward visions to treat those problems.

in the third stage, a future vision for the development of the specialization was formulated as a vision, mission, values and goals, and in the fourth stage, some proposed mechanisms were developed to implement a plan to develop the field of measurement, evaluation, psychological and educational statistics, and to define key performance indicators to measure the rate of success in implementing the proposed vision, requirements and procedures for developing the field, and in the fifth stage a review of some recent research trends and issues to develop the field, and ends with the most important recommendations necessary to advance the reality of measurement and evaluation practices and references of the research paper and appendices.
