The actor produces many images related to spoken words or to expressive energies manifested through the actor’s external appearance in which costumes plays a significant role.
The aim of this paper is to question the roles of costumes in ‘the Martyrs are Coming Back this Week’ to scrutinize their contribution in the structure of the show that is subject to this study.
It also focuses on the tasks performed by the show costumes to reveal conflicts between performing selves, and to uncover their hidden discourse.

L’acteur est le noyau du spectacle théâtral, il est même le centre dont surgissent certains signes en relation avec la parole énoncée, et d’autres en relation avec les capacités expressives du corps théâtral incarnées par la mimique, les gestes et le look extérieur à travers lequel les costumes jouent un rôle effectif et complémentant les autres signes formant le système de show.
Cet article vise à soulever la question des costumes dans «les Martyrs reviennent cette semaine» mis en scène par ZIANI CHERIF AYAD.
