Abstract EN

This study aims to identify a trend and a group of modern groups that emerged in Jewish religious thought in the early nineteenth century, and had a strong influence among the Jewish people in Europe and then surpassed it to the United States of America, thus creating a group considered as one of the most prominent modern Jewish groups in its decisions and conferences, named the reforming Judaism.

This research deals with the extent of the response of this sect to the Zionist project in Palestine, and how it met it with reject and strong opposition in principle, before turning its views and the change of the reject into recognition and support
