Abstract EN

With Algeria exposed to the recent double crisis of the health pandemic Corona (COVID-19) and the decline in fuel prices, the study sought to verify the ability and effectiveness of financial policy in Algeria in overcoming these crises and achieving financial sustainability through the use of modern quantitative methods.

Definition of financial sustainability and its most important indicators in the Algerian economy for the period 1990-2020, Using the standard method of joint integration analysis and causation testing, the study concluded that there is a long-term relationship between government expenditures and public revenues.

In light of these results, it was necessary to develop a short and medium plan to achieve financial sustainability in Algeria.
