In Arabic, There are multiple forms of vocative according to the vocative status and the needed circumstance for the vocative.

The multiplicity in constructing this vocative style leads to specific connotation demanded by the place and discourse.

This variation in vocative case can be seen in Ziyarat Al-Imam Al-Hussain in which the vocative was change by the change or variance of the listener, context, time and the psychological status of the person who read Ziyarat.

The writer change the changes the vocative styles according the demand of the context and its connotation in the text.
