The topic of the research is based on showing the effect of expansion on hearing in Al-Saghani's Book “TheComplementation, The Tail and The Relate” Because the expansion is one of the linguistic phenomena that have captured the attention of scholars, including linguists, grammarians and others, and because the book of “The Complementation, The Tail and The Relate” is one of the important books that have been added, corrected, and appended to Al-Sahhahlexicon ; the research titled (Expansion on Hearing in Al-Saghani's Book “The Complementation, The Tail and The Relate).

The study included an introduction or preamble and two topics, the introduction was devoted to tackle the concept of hearing, then the first topic came to talk about Al-Saghani and his book, and the second topic included explanation about Expansion and its images in the complementation, the tail and the relate, and then the results.
