Linguistic research since its appearance has known several meetings with different human sciences, such as sociology psychology and anthropology.

Linguistic is one of most important disciplines within humanities, furthermore, it is the bridge between human sciences as said STRAUSS.

However there are several linguistic issues that urge discipline to depend on data produced by other close disciplines.

This is what we are trying to confirm in the recent study “ ethnographic approach aspects in the linguistic researches of Salah BELAID”.

We attempt to unveil the aspects of the linguistic ethnographic approach in BELAID's works, especially in his sociolinguistic contributions, we try to define the reasons of the adoption of this approach.

The importance of this research is in demonstrating how other disciplines can contribute to linguistic studies
