in this study Mustapha El-Achraf presents analysis of the Algerian social movement with all its questions and topics, which reflected his comprehensive vision of the components of Algerian society, through one resource, which is the resource of the revolution.

The question of revolution in his thought is a central question through which he gives a new conception of this concept.

For him the revolution is a cultural phenomenon before it is a physical event considering that it is the organizing thread for understanding the social movement that Algerian society knew throughout the occupation period, by employing the most prominent indicator in sociological analysis in his reading of Algerian society, in the era of occupation which is the indicator of revolutionary action, and this is to understand the individual and the path of society Which will turn the answer to a central problem is the ability to transform the components of the revolution that liberated us into a social revolution with the aim of progress and development.
