Abstract EN

The studyaims to try to identify the extent of the impact of work stress on the demand for practicing recreational sporting activity.

For thispurpose, weused the statistical approach on a sample of 276 persons from among the arrivals of the sportscomplex "Colonel Lotfi" and the Olympic swimming pool "Ahmed Al-Ghazi" in the Wilaya of Tlemcen.

Selection of this non-probability sample in a quota method, and to collect data, weused the questionnaire tool with closed and directed questions.

After collecting the results and treating them statistically through the Statistical Package Program in Social Sciences (SPSS), it was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between work stress and demand The practice of recreational sporting activity, and this relationship was moderate in intensity.
