Abstract EN

This research paper aims to reveal the various sensual images contained in ancient Moroccan poetry, The latter is derived from the work of the senses, and is an important element in drawing and shaping the image in Arabic poetry in general.

To what extent have these poets succeeded in employing them in their various poems, and what is the sensual image that has been focused on by poets to express their poetic experiences, In this research, a definition of the sensual image and its different types of visual, auditory, olfactory, and gustatory images has been presented.

These different images are then traced in samples of ancient Moroccan poetry.

A group of poets belonging to different periods of time have been selected, then the search for sensual images Contained in their poems, given the important role the senses have in illuminating the poetic image
