Abstract EN

This article deals with the issue of titling critics books in the fourth century, and how critics put them into terms that are adequate to contents and compatible with them, respecting the conditions of term setting.

The fact that leads us to think that the Arhad known the terminology as a science with all its steps, approaches and methods, and that all those titles -as a whole- express what they reached in terms of the intellectual maturity, the methodological accuracy and the ability of naming and setting terms, which emulates that of the modern one, and which also indicates their leadership in constructing and rooting terms.

Thus, the ancient critics had excelled in setting critical terms in the titles of their literary works and were dealing with different critical issues so that their efforts are worth to be studied.
