This research paper aims to shed light on the sentimental trend in modern Algerian poetry of the Algerian critic Mohamed Salah Nacer, where we will seek his critical opinions through his study of the concept of romantic poetry, musical composition and poetic language through his critique of Algerian poetic models.

From here, this research paper aims to seek a departure from the ego to the other, by examining the critical efforts of the critic Mohamed Nacer on the romantic trend in Algeria, highlighting one of the voices of the Algerian criticism represented by the critic Mohamed Nacer and his critical views on the emotional direction.
