This research focuses on the centrality of Al-Jahiz in Arab rhetoric theory through Hammadi Samoud's thesis, entitled " Rhetorical Thinking Among The Ar".

He presented a new reading of arabic rhetoric by splitting rhetoric into rhetoric before Al-Jahiz, Al-Jahiz period, and after Al-Jahiz.

He attempted to invest in his split.

His work in the book was based on the historical evolutionary side, investing in the structural acquisitions and contemporary linguistics.

We note that Hammadi Samoud set up his reading of arab rhethorical thinking based on the interaction between heritage and modernity.

His project was synthetic depends on a holistic view in his reading of heritage, as the linguistic sayings manifested with Al-Jahiz such as language and speech taking into account the status of the listner and the circumstances of saying.

He succeeded by using western curricula in reading heritage.
