Most countries of the world have committed to a policy of sustainable tourism development, in order to preserve their economic, social and environmental gains in order to meet the needs of current and future generations, and Algeria is among the countries that have followed these trends, especially in the field of tourism by adopting a national strategy for tourism development for the horizons of 2030 and the directive scheme for preparing tourism for the horizons of 2030.

It relied on developing legal and legislative frameworks that stimulate and encourage the use of its various resources to preserve the tourism environment, and provided all facilities and support for investment in the tourism field and partnership with foreign dealers, but the results achieved from the tourism development strategy in Algeria did not reach the established goals.
