Al-kitab of Sibawayh is a most important source in Arabic grammatical studies in general, and bassrah in particular, because its author seems to combine all the grammatical problems, with poetic testimonies.

This importance of the book "AL-KITAB" has made several of the authors try to explain these witnesses, among them Andalusian grammarians, among them found "AL-AALAM ACH-CHAMANTARI", who explained "AL-KITAB" in this book called "AN-NOKAT FI TAFSSIR KITAB SIBAWAYH", the poetic testimonies are explained in this book "TAHSSIL AYN ADH-DHAHAB".
