The study aims to demonstrate the implications of the emerging corona virus pandemic on the opportunities to achieve sustainable development globally, by highlighting the current and expected effects of this pandemic on the economic, social and environmental aspects at the global level, based on reliable global data and statistics .

The study concluded that, this global pandemic, which has continued to date, has had major negative repercussions on the economic and social levels, especially in developing and poor countries.

As for the environmental level, the decline in global economic activity has led to a relative improvement in the climate and normal life.

The continuation of the pandemic increases the possibility of significant negative effects in the long term.
