Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the importance of adopting digital financial technologies as a mechanism to achieve the goals of sustainable development in the Arab countries, given its ability to popularize financial services and render them more sustainable and less expensive.

The study concluded that the Arab countries as a group suffer from weak levels of financial inclusion, therefore the need arises to adopt digital financial technologies.

The field of digital payments is the most widespread in the Arab countries, while the demand for the rest of the technologies remains in its early stages due to several challenges.

which necessitates the need to build a comprehensive strategy to manage the risks of digital financial technologies and take advantage of their benefits in achieving comprehensive development
