This paper sheds light on the manifestations of the French-Italian geopolitical rivalry and its impact on the unity and stability of the Libyan state.

He concluded that the political division had mainly caused an ongoing conflict between the warring parties, resulting in chaos and instability.

Consequently, this division allowed interventions from France and Italy, which gives them an opportunistic position to take advantage of the current situation in Libya to achieve certain special interests, and through a description of the current Libyan situation, which is likely to go towards further escalation and changing alliances, France becomes caught in a complex problem.

On the one hand, it suffers from the severity of the old Italian competing role in Libya, and on the other hand it entered into a new competition with the Turkish player strongly involved in
