Abstract EN

We aim from this paper to hold an analytical reading of the concept of "AL-Maqasid" as addressed by Moroccan thinker Taha Abdel Rahman in his book" Renewing the approach in evaluating heritage" in his response to the other Moroccan thinker Mohamed Abed Al-Jabiri.

where Taha sought to deconstruct the Common verb “Qasada ”into three meanings, Stating that no one has ever elaborated the differences between them! All this in order to prove his integrative theory of reading heritage, and his doctrine of preference for the ethical knowledge system, which prompted him to reveal the moral foundations of Al-Shatiby's Maqasid Theory through these three meanings, and then evaluate the defect in this theory from an ethical side.

Accordingly, I am trying to present Taha Abdel Rahman's work in an approximate manner, trying to support it with clarifications of some of the hidden aspects and and the mechanisms used, especially his famous pragmatic approach.
