Semiotics is a critical project that seeks to reveal the network of relationships resulting from the linguistic units within the literary text, because the text or discourse in the eyes of semiologists is a linguistic form that includes a set of linguistic signs, that refer to certain ideas and meanings.

To determine these meanings, semiotic critics resorted to semiotic procedures and mechanisms such as Isotopy and Allotopy.

This study comes to examine these two mechanisms and to show their importance in analysis and reading the creative text, specifically the contemporary Algerian poem, taking the poets Achour Fenny, and Youssef Waghlissi, as a model for analysis according to a semiotic reading.
