A reading of the transformations of contemporary literary criticismThe present research, using a descriptive historical method, aims at studying some great intellectual transformations known by the occidental spirit.

Thanks to these transformations, criticism schools produce many new literary critical terms, such as: text, closed format, reader, deferred meaning.

Structuralism is a critical school which deals with literary text as a linguistic fabric focusing on internal relations in the text as well as the deconstructive strategy that unmasks some bumps in the precedent methods.

This strategy is interested in taboo and unsaid in order to make endless researches on deferred meaning.
