In the third Millennium, humanity lives in a globalized world and this globalization is multidimentional : political, economic, financial, and communicational: But first and foremost, this globalization is cultural, in the sense that is restructured the social and cultural fundaments of human societies.
In fact, in this context humanity is invited more than ever, to think and rethink its ways of cultural and social constructions.
Consequently, anthropology is the only discipline among the social sciences capable to perform this difficult role of re-thinking.
But it this discipline inertly opened towards rethinking its own strategies of knowledge construction? This paper is an essay on the nature of anthropology, and on some ideas of its possible renewal.

Dans ce monde du III° millénaire, l'humanité vit dans un univers globalisé, cette globalisation est multidimensionnelle (politique, économique, financière, communicationnelle): mais elle est notamment d'ordre culturel, dans la mesure ou elle a bouleversé les fondements sociaux et culturels des sociétés humains.
En effet, Dans ce contexte l'humanité est invité plus que jamais è penser er repenser les conditions de production du savoir, de l'humain sur l'humain et sur les sociétés humaines.
Par conséquent, l'anthropologie demeure la seule discipline parmi les disciplines des sciences sociales et humaines, capable de jouer ce rôle difficile.
Mais cette discipline et le-même est-elle invitée à renouveler les stratégies de production de ce savoir? Cette contribution est une tentative de comprendre la nature de cette discipline, mais aussi de présenter quelques idées dans le processus de son renouvèlement.
