Abstract EN

This research paper aims to identify the actual level of compliance with the implementation of the environmental management system in the Tébessa Cement Company, which is ISO 14001: 2015 certified.

The study concluded that the compliance rate for the application of the standard reached 71,16 % and the gap size ratio 28,84%.

These results indicate that the institution has not yet reached the degree of certification and has yet to fix weaknesses in its environmental management system by paying more attention to its scope and assigning responsibilities and authorities to environmental management.

With the aim of developing it, starting with improving the requirements of planning, support and operations to ensure that it improves its environmental performance and maintains the certificate granted to it.
