In this article we try to demonstrate the style of repetition as a linguistic phenomenon found in the literary text in general, and in poetry in particular, then we refer to its definition, then we address its functions and types, focusing on the repetition of the word, this type that we are trying to apply to (Moallaket Imro El Kais), so we extract each time its implications The variety, which is an important expressive stylistic value, is no less important than other poetic techniques, and thus we emphasize that ancient Arabic poetry is still a fertile field that needs deep and specialized studies.
