Crime in the field of electronic commerce harms many parties and affects the interest of each of them, whether the seller or the buyer, as well as the producer and the consumer, which is what all legal legislation related to electronic commerce including the United Nations Model Law has attempted to notice, namely that prejudice to the interest in the scope of electronic commerce is achieved By attacking everything related to commercial activities, and by the issuance of Law 05/18 related to electronic commerce in Algeria, which devoted effective criminal protection to electronic commercial transactions both in its texts, Or by referring this law to other criminal legislation in the Algerian legal system, from protecting the electronic signature and electronic consumer data to protecting the electronic commercial website and electronic resource, which are the most important interests that most criminal legislation agree to protect, criminalize assault, and penalize those who harm, As an essential component of e-commerce.
