Abstract EN

In this study, we tried to determine which the Algerian insurance companies cover the risks related to Corona pandemic (Covid-19).

This study was conducted using an electronic questionnaire that was sent to employees working in these companies.

To analyse the data of this study we used the SPSS-25 program, by using frequencies, percentages, mean, and standard deviation.

We have concluded that the majority of insurance contracts available in insurance companies in Algeria do not cover the risks related to this pandemic, but it should be noted that there is coverage of some of the risks caused by this pandemic in some insurance contracts of life-insurance companies only, and we should mention: death insurance, some guarantees in health insurance, as well as travel insurance.
