The Algerian banking system : reality, reforms and wto accession

In each economy, the banking system has a big role in the development and the financement of the development and creation of wealth and jobs by the financing the project of divertissement.

Unfortunately, in Algeria is engaged in the process of accession to the WTO, but its banking system is not capable of doing this role and to be adapted with rules of the WTO and GATS.

Why ? This is the main question of this paper.

In This paper we focuses on the function and dysfunction of the Algerian banking system and the conditions necessary for the success of reforms consistent with the standards of the WTO and GATS rules.

We try to analyze the function and dysfunction of the Algerian banking system by studying its composition, evolution and structure.

We also try to determine the conditions necessary for the success of the accession and adaptation with GATS.
