Algeria was known in 1932 the birth of the Association of Sunni Scholars, which is a defection made by a planet of reformist scholars from the road current, who were members of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, this association showed from the first day of its founding hostility to the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, which left a conflict between the two parties invested by French colonialism in spreading the dispute between the poles of the religious current in Algeria.

The Sunnis considered the vicious attack launched by the Association to be contrary to civilized behaviour, considering the defection of the Association of Sunni Scholars from it as a defection from the Muslim community, whose violation sits unared ly and does not depart from it, and their conflict was an important separation in Algeria's history between reform and colonial reactionaryism.
