يتضمن هذا المقال رؤيتنا للترجمة انطلاقا من تجربتنا في ترجمة نصوص من الفرنسية و الإنكليزية مدارها على اللسانيات و فلسفة اللغة.
وقد سعينا فيه إلى الإجابة عن السؤال التالي: كيف نحوز النص الأعجمي و نحتويه و نتملكه و نحوله إلى نص خاص بنا حامل لسمات ثقافتنا دون إخلال بمضمونه المعرفي؟ أي كيف نعيد إنتاج النص الأصلي من جديد و كأنه أنشئ في ثقافتنا دون إدخال الضيم على مقاصد مؤلفه؟ و ما نذهب إليه هو أن الترجمة الموفقة هي الترجمة التي يتوارى معها النص الأصلي على النحو الذي يقوى معه ظن القارئ بأن ما يقرؤه إنما أنشئ في اللغة المنقول إليها ابتداء
Abstract EN
On the basis of our experience in translating some texts revolving around linguistics and philosophy of language from French and English into Arabic, we seek to answer the following question: How can we appropriate the translated text and transform it into a one of our own while remaining faithful to its content.
The article argues that the identifying criterion for a successful translation lies in its idiomaticness, when the target text looks as if it were written in the language into which it was translated.
