Abstract EN

This search aims to study analyze urban of urban land uses in the center of the al-Abbasi sub-district, the area of the study was 247,498 hectares and population was 10194.then, the study presented the theoretical contents of earth’s uses .which contains its definition ,importance ,objectives and factors that affected them, as well as theories of land use.

The third part was concerned with the reality of land uses in al-Abbasi sub-district .It includes residential use which represents 177,648 hectares and 71,77% commercial use includes1,410 which represents 0,56%, industrial use includes 0.705 hectares which represents 0,28%, administrative use includes 3,479 hectares which represents1,40% ,educational use 4,762 which represents 1,92%,health use 0,947which represents 0.382%and the religious use includes 0,382 hectares which represents0,15% the total use.

Land use for trans potation includes 48,475 hectares which represents 19,58 % of the total area of the study area.

land use for entertainment with 7,689 hectares which represents 3,11% of the study area .as well as infrastructure services including water, electricity and fuel station services which represent 2,001 hectares and 0,85% of the study area.
