Abstract EN

The study aims to highlight the topic of epistemology and open philosophy as one of the current theses in the philosophy of science through the thought and philosophy of three poles who are considered among the most important philosophers of the twentieth century : Ferdinand Gonseth, Gaston Bachelard and Jean Piaget.

They are reflecting three different fields of knowledge by virtue of their works on : Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology respectively, and their role in advancing this new philosophical branch.

The study concluded that open philosophy is not restricted to a specific philosophical pattern, but rather is adherent to the idea of relativity of knowledge and the principle of revisionability, as it is a call to abandon certainties and to reject dogmaticism by calling for an evolutionary epistemology to change its principles to suit the prevailing scientific culture.
