Abstract EN

This study is aimed at analyzing the nature of the relationship between God and the world in Islamic thought and, to be precise, at the philosopher Ibn Tufayl.

Through his message, Ben Awakened showed us the levels of human knowledge that move from human perception of the events and physical phenomena around him, and then steps towards what is simply spiritual, reaching his knowledge of God and his union.

We have concluded that man has access to God's knowledge by means of his own and independent facultys, such as the cleric, though different, which means that they are complementary and therefore do not conflict between reason and faith or between wisdom and Sharia.
