Abd al-Rahman al-Akhdari was one of the men of thought and culture in Algeria and one of the most eminent scholars of the 10th century AH in the Ottoman era, al-Akhdari was known for his knowledge and multiplicity of his writings, and our contribution to the enhancement of his personality has exposed us to the most brilliant page of Algerian culture through al-Akhdari and its literary effects, his life and his scientific culture, his life and his literary effects.

This unique scientific personality in his time has still not received the attention it deserved, for the books of al-Akhdari are still with a manuscript awaiting investigation, and what is printed awaits a scientific study, we therefore seek through this article to lift the veil on this personnalit.
