The contemporary German philosopher Karl Otto Apel is one of the most prominent communicative philosophy through his continental philosophy and his project in the ethics of discussion, which was widely spread due to the normative and ethical values it carries, but this did not prevent the existence of criticisms and corrections to him, so we will address in this research paper the critical position of the philosopher.

The Frenchman Jean-Marc Ferry directed Karl Otto Apel's foundational philosophy in which he focused on the final transcendental establishment of the mind, as he sought to present a group of critical observations of Aple's philosophical project in one of his attempts entitled Thinking with Aple against Aple in his book Philosophy of Communication in which he treated communication as a contemporary philosophical problem For many philosophers, we will focus on two main points, the first of which is the founding project of karl Otto Apel, where we will show the most important philosophical ideas he presented, and the second of which is the most important criticism that he was exposed to.
