No matter how different sociological theses with their different theoretical frameworks (paradigmes) about theorizing of society, analyzing its systems, and its various functions, there is relative agreement about the problem that every social group, regardless of its cultural and socio-historical peculiarities, has special mechanisms and strategies that guarantee its survival and its material, symbolic, cultural, and social gains.

It also has a status and a social role of its own, and this is what historians and social thinkers like Marx, who criticized the founder of status theory, Max Weber, who built the societal division on prestige and respect, that is, social status.
