يعتبر اختيار رئيس الجمهورية عن طريق الارادة الشعبية أحد عوامل الاستقرار السياسي و الدستوري، كما يجعل من رئيس الدولة في مركز أقوى بالنسبة لباقي المؤسسات الدستورية و باعتبار رئيس الجمهورية في الجزائر منتخب عن طريق الاقتراع العام المباشر فقد احتل مكانة ممتازة في النظام السياسي الجزائري باعتباره رئيسا للدولة و مجسدا لوحدة الأمة و هو المسؤول الأول عن وحدة التراب الوطني و السيادة الوطنية، فضلا عن كونه القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة، من هذا المنطلق كان رئيس الجمهورية هو محور هذا البحث الذي ينصب أساسا حول دراسة المركز القانوني لرئيس الجمهورية عقب التعديل الدستوري لسنة 2020

2020.
The selection of the president of the republic by popular will, is considered one of the factors of political and constitutional stability.
It also makes the head of state in a stronger position in relation to the rest of the constitutional institutions.
As the president of the republic in Algeria was elected by direct universal suffrage, he occupied an excellent position in the Algerian political system as head of state.
from this point of view the President of the Republic was the focus of this research, which is mainly focused on studying the legal position of the President of the Republic after the constitutional amendment of 2020.
