Through this article, we tried to elucidate the dimensions of the statement ”the closed layout” from the critical proposition represented by Greimas, according to which he based the idea of immanence in dealing with narrative texts in one hand, and on the other hand, we presented the most important statements that confronted this proposition and supplied the justifications to uphold the idea that the literary text acquires the formula for its survival from its open rather than closed layout.
