The semantic field is considersd as a mirror that reflects the contents of the poetic text of the poet, as it represents to us his feelings and feelings that affect the poet’s self as a result of what he encounters in his life, especially if he is away from his homeland, his family and his friends, through a group of words and indications that show that which constitutes the content of the poetic text, and this What Mahmoud Sami Al-Baroudi showed in his emigrant poetic sayings, which he organized while he was in the country of exile on Serendib lsland.

Accordingly, this research aims to answer the following problems : What are the most important semantic fields that embodied the state of wandering and alienation for the poet Mahmoud Sami Al-Baroudi ? And how did the poet’s self manifest accordingly? What are the most important words that indicate that?
