The romantic school is considered a renewal feature of the Arabic poem in the modern era, So that modern Arabic poetry moved from tradition and revival to renewal in terms of form and content, The romantic school is a revolution against classical art and a call for poetic emancipation, It is a change in the field of literature and art, And it came as a reaction to the classical school, The latter restricted the poet and imposed on him traditions and principles in his handling of the topics, Many schools of modern Arabic literature have been influenced by the romantic trend, especially the immigrant school of literature, whose most prominent poet is Mikhail Naima whose poetry is rich in romantic images, especially the poem (The Frozen River).
