Since television is one of the widespread and influential media in its audience, it has been employed to contribute in the spread of cultural and tourism awareness, through its educational function.

It has been also used to introduce the qualifications of cultural tourism in Algeria via various television programs such as the social TV drama, which is followed particularly in Ramadan period, and although it addresses a social issue in its subjects, it is through the scenario and the place where the events of this television work are portrayed, we can recognize the Algerian cultural heritage through the traditions and customs related to a certain place, and highlight its natural components.

This is what we noticed from “wlad Hlal” the director took us through the episodes of the series to the most prominent milestones Elbahya-Oran customs and traditions of the joys of families and the extent Symbolism of their preservation of folklore.
