This study attempts to highlight that qualitative shift that occurred in the field of narratives from working on verbal forms of narration, especially literary ones, to the approach of audio-visual patterns, and this was a reason to reconsider the limits of narrative, whose response from time has been linked to the verbal, and intent to touch the qualitative nature of the systems Semiotics In its production of narrative, it was necessary to select two representative samples: the fictional genre and the film form; As the first embodies the verbal and the second depends on the audio-visual system, and this is what makes us in front of two different expressive forms in the semiotic nature, but they can produce the narrative pattern either using the verbal dimension or based on the image as a producer of the narrative that appears in a visual way.
