The cinema has a confusing and complex relationship with history, however the historical event has never been a vital request in cinema, otherwise, the artwork will become an epic semi-biography, that tells actual events from reality, and cinematographers have turned into historians, and cinema would lost one of its most creative elements, that is imagination.

Thus, from this angle, this study addresses the relationship of cinema to history, trying to provide an answer for the historical dimension in dramatic artwork, by observing the overlap of the realistic / historical dimension, with the cinematic fiction, through the film of “Kharboucha” of Hamid ZOUGHI.
