Abstract EN

This research aims at evaluating teaching of Arabic language in non-specialized departments of the collage of basic education from student’s point of view.

The sample consisted of (288)male and femal students of second and fourth grades in the departments of ( Social sciences , English language, Mathematics and general science).

The tool of the research was a questionnaire of (33) tems prepared by the two researchers covering three categories .

Both validity and stability of the tool were viewed .

Using the probability theory and kaisquar as statistical means to analyze data , the results showed that teachers teaching of Arabic language in non specialized departments , plan carefally for their lecture, placing their lecture in early a hours of the day , taking care of evaluating pupils and the comprehensiveness of the questions.

The results also showed that the pupil’s (the research sample ) their answers that the items of Arabie language clear and in cleared known , but they are repeated , because most of these items were studied in their educational years .

a sub result also stressed that Arabic language teachers in non-specialized departments do not use educational means and their lack of encouraging pupils to organize and produce educational means related to Arabic language.

The results also showed the disappearance of difference between cleard in their respenses on the items ofscientific and human tarian d the research (except an items or two in the first and second categories ).
