Abstract EN

This paper aims at examining and inspecting one of AL-MUTANBY’S poems, in respectg styl, on three levels: structural, semantic and phonetic levels.

The first level tackles the basic structures represented by interrogative, negative, restrictive and ellipticall.

The second is discussing the manifestation forms, colour meanings, irony references and the vitality of plurals.

The third is concerned with observing the most important forms of equivalence sided by the external melody represented in the rhyme scheme.
